CAMPING

 

Camping will be permitted for this event in Anglers Park by permit only.  Permits must be coordinated through the Office of Outdoor Recreation.

  1. Click here for camping permit.
  2. A copy of this permit must be signed and faxed to Outdoor Recreation.  Fax number is (434) 797-8996. 
  3. A member of the Outdoor Recreation staff will also sign the permit and it will be faxed back to you. 

 

A signed permit MUST be displayed in the windshield of your vehicle.

Space is limited.  Reservations must be faxed to their office no later than Friday May 29th at 1:00 pm.

PLEASE NOTE:  There can be NO camping upstream of the parking lot on the Rugby Fields. 

Camping will be permitted downstream of the boat ramp.  We recommend that you camp along the tree-lined area away from the gravel road.  This will keep you off the race course and away from the Start/Finish area.  Also, we will be using this area for overflow parking on Sunday morning, so please be conservative with the size of your site.  See the map below and please ask questions if you have any.
